Alison has worked in or for the NHS for 30 years. Starting a mental health nurse before going on to leadership and transformation roles, she has also worked in the voluntary sector as Chair of Healthwatch in West Berkshire, winning a Pride of Reading award for her community engagement. She has lived in Reading for over 20 years and believes passionately that the collaboration across different sectors will bring significant benefits to the local community. Alison is studying for her PhD in Health Economics and Policy and enjoys walking, travelling and socialising.
